About Me

My photo
I am someone who always wanted to write, but never took the time. So now you can read my thoughts for the moment. Keeping up with my little family seems hectic at times...but it's my favorite thing to do!

TEENS! PROM!! GRAD!!! OH MY!

My mom and step dad married in the fall of 1999.  I had just graduated high school, and Danny, Blake and Brayden were there.
This past week, Brayden graduated.  It doesn't seem like 11 years.  Time goes by so fast! But we are proud that he finished and look forward to him joining us in the "real world".  ;)

The family has grown, don't you think?

I thought since most of my friend (and myself, of course) used to babysit these beautiful girls, I would include them in my post.  Maloree and Ashlee are now 17 and 16, respectively.  Here are a couple pics from prom.

B is for BIRTHDAY! H is for HAIL!

This past weekend we traveled to Haskell, OK for Brady and Baxter's birthday party!  (in case you don't know who those boys are, they are John's sons.  John is Joe's older brother)
Brady turned 4 and Baxter turned 2.  They are BIG fans of Thomas the Train, so that was the party theme.
My MIL is an amazing cake maker, and made the boys their own train cakes.

Aren't they incredible!?!?

After the party we went outside to play.  Ainsley was impressed with Bax's bubble mower.

With all of this Oklahoma rain, shortly after this picture was taken, Ainsley slipped in the puddle and was PURE MUD from top to bottom! She cried for a minute, but soon decided she wasn't really hurt, and should play naked.

Thank you Papa for helping drive the firetruck!  And I guess the tractor was much too high...she needed the ladder to help!

There's nothing better than splashing in the puddles

We left Haskell around 2:30pm on Sunday and stopped between Shawnee and OKC to go to the bathroom and get some snacks.  We went in to Loves and a few minutes later walked out into a HAIL STORM!
Here are a few pics of us sitting in the car waiting for it to pass.

It looks like the ground after it's snowed!  Ice was everywhere!

Miss Ainsley just ate some Cheetos and watched the Little Mermaid.
She did tell Joe that he should stop it, she didn't like all that noise.
