About Me

My photo
I am someone who always wanted to write, but never took the time. So now you can read my thoughts for the moment. Keeping up with my little family seems hectic at times...but it's my favorite thing to do!

My Diva

My sweet angel...she is HIGH MAINTENENCE!  But I love her!  :)
She loves to dress up.  In anything!! If I try on clothes...so does she.   If I try on shoes...so does she.  There are days when she will walk into a room with an entirely different set of clothes on than she had on 10 minutes before.  Here are some fun pictures to prove this...
I stepped out of the shower...and she had on my clothes I just took off.

Minnie Mouse!

In her "princess dress" playing with the castle.

Phone? CHECK!  Sunglasses? CHECK! Ready to roll...

She's ready to play ball.  She may even run backwards...who knows!
Fedora and red shoes.  Every girl needs these for a shopping day!

She picks out the best shoes.  And Divas ALWAYS wear pink.

Ainsley is also very kind.  When she loves you...she LOVES you.  She takes such good care of her babies.  And of Lucy.  I have such a good dog to put up with all this "attention".  Sweet Lucy gets "ponynails", barrettes and costumes, as well.  But Ainsley just love her.  When it was time for Lucy's nap, Ainsley got her a pillow and blanket so she would be comfortable.

There isn't anything as sweet as watching your baby take care of something/someone else.
I sure hope she's learning this from me!

VACATION!!

A HUGE thank you to my uncle Tracy who rented a house for us in Breckenridge!  Although it was extremely cold, we had a blast getting out of town.  We drove all night Wed night only to sit at a 2 hour stand still in Denver.  And if you didn't know, I get motion sick, so this was not my idea of a pleasant morning!
We arrived safe and sound soon there after.  And then while Ainsley and I stayed put, most of the fam headed to the slopes!
Danny, Blake, Brayden & Joe

Joe had never been skiing before-so this was definitely an experience!  He and the boys went out everyday.  I think it got easier for him by the day...but he was really sore!

Since Ainsley isn't old enough to ski yet (they said she had to be 3!) we just hung out.  We spent time inside by the fire, just playing.  We brought her Little People and her colors.  I think everyone colored with her at one time or another.  She really loved the snow.  On our trip down Main St. we bought a sled for her, and then ended up dragging her down the sidewalks in it!
We did have some beautiful views from our walk.

We found a Children's Museum for Ainsley to play.  She found so many things to do!

First we made a pretty picture with colored tape, markers and we glued fuzzy balls and feathers to the paper! Of course, I forgot to bring it home.  It's still "magneted" to the fridge at the house!

She then slid into the "Bear Cave" and took a picture with all the bears!  She looks scared, doesn't she?!?!

Then she went fishing off the bridge.  She was consentrating so hard!  She didn't want to miss ANY fish!  She caught them all!
All in all, we had a fun time.  We had some spectacular views!!  Day or night, Breckenridge is one of the most beautiful places I've seen.  It had so much character.

Sunday morning we left bright and early.  I was not looking forward to the drive, but I made it!  I only had to get sick once!  And Ainsley did fantastic.  I can't belive she can sit in the car that long and stay happy.  (only with orange peanuts and her DVD player)  We were so very glad to be home and sleep in our own beds.
