About Me

My photo
I am someone who always wanted to write, but never took the time. So now you can read my thoughts for the moment. Keeping up with my little family seems hectic at times...but it's my favorite thing to do!

Great State Fair of....

OKLAHOMA!
Just in case we have NEVER met....I LOVE THE FAIR!
I mean LOVE. Love.  Love.
We didn't get to attend last year because my sweet Millie decided to grace us with her presence a few days early.  But I WAS NOT missing this year.
The girls had a doctor appt in the morning, so I decided to let Ainsley play hooky from school and head to the fair after.
Since it was just us girls, and Millie was too small for the rides (and Ainsley isn't really into rides) we played a lot of games and walked around.

Dad came and met us after work..so A and I got to ride the carousel....a few times!  It's her fav!

Every year I want to take Ainsley to a show.  And it never happened.  She doesn't like a lot of loud noise...and get nervous around so many people.  So we never ventured out.
But this year I decided it was time.
DISNEY ON ICE, HERE WE COME!
She was enthralled at all the Princess stuff available.  I thought she was going to explode with excitement.
In the lobby, they had this super cool "Cinderella carriage" made of legos.  I was impressed!
So we waited in line to get the girls picture...
Dad didn't quite get the idea of getting the carriage in the picture...he was so focused on getting their pretty faces. (he loves their pretty faces!)
Millie just wanted to play on it. :)
So while in line to buy a drink, I noticed that there wasn't anyone in line for a picture....so we tried again.
PERFECT! (except no Millie.  No way was she posing again)
Then we headed in to find our seats.
It was incredible.

They both loved it!
Millie just loves Minnie Mouse and when she skated out, that was the best time!
Ainsley just could not believe all the princesses were there.
She was totally convinced they were real.
Not at first...she knew they were actors.  Until Rapunzel's horse came out on skates.  There is NO WAY an actor can be a horse.  :)
I love seeing things through her eyes.  I think I'll just keep her little a while longer....
