About Me

My photo
I am someone who always wanted to write, but never took the time. So now you can read my thoughts for the moment. Keeping up with my little family seems hectic at times...but it's my favorite thing to do!

On Friday afternoon, downtown Chickasha had their Trick-or-Treating.
Sandy, Noah and I got the kids in their costumes and headed out!
We had to stop by the bank to pick up Noah, and let everyone see how cute our kiddos were.

Crew didn't really get into "asking" for candy, but he sure looked cute walking around!
He swiped a sucker from the bank and was happy for most of the time we walked around.
There were times when we had to stand in line for a minute, and eventually we needed a sucker break
Afterwards, the "BIG KIDS" had to go home and change for our own Halloween party
(Thanks Evva for having us)
John and Lorena Bobbit
Fred and Wilma Flinstone

 Some of the party goers...

Mel was the best back-up karaoke singer EVER!

On Saturday....the real Halloween, we took the kids trick-or-treating in Noah's "new" neighborhood.
They did so very good!  Ainsley got the hang of it and just took off.  For being so shy, she really liked ringing doorbells.

When it started getting really dark and the bigger kids started coming out...we went to Mammy's and helped hand out candy.  Ainsley enjoyed that just as much, I think.

Halloween School Party

On the Friday before Halloween, Ainsley's school had a party.  They went trick-or-treating around USAO campus and all the parents brought fun snacks!
Ainsley is so shy...she stood in the bathroom for awhile because she didn't want anyone to see her shark costume.  (a girl shark)
With some convincing, she finally emerged and joined the rest of the kids.  Mommy got to stay and play on this day, so that helped her enjoy herself.
Here she is ready to trick or treat!
(notice the bow to make the it a girl shark!)

The kids are doing some crafts and getting ready to line up

Normally Ainsley doesn't eat her snack at school.  We haven't figured out why yet, but when mom is with her she does better.  So I loaded up her plate with goodies...and all she ate were grapes!
The teachers let the kids go home with their parents if they were present, but Ainsley wanted to stay and play with her friend Ryann.
They were pretending to be teachers.  They even got to play with the teachers "supplies"
This is something Ainsley does at home, but really got into doing it at school.
When we got home, I put all of the goodies Ainsley got on the counter and couldn't believe my eyes!
She has such great classmates...and is really starting to like all them, too!

Pumpkin Patch 2010

Mammy and I took KK, Crew and Ainsley to the Pumpkin Patch on Wed before Halloween
We had so much fun!
Crew wouldn't stand up there alone, but he wouldn't let the girls stand alone either!  So we just went with all three!
We slide a little bit...
And then we played on the swings....
AND THE ANIMALS!
Ainsley loves, loves animals.  Especially horses...and was so excited there were some horses there that were "just her size"

Chillin' at the bird cages

We attempted to go throught the Mazes.  The small ones were ok...but the BIG one was a little harder.  (they don't have much patience)
And OFF they go...
Ainsley decided to take something with her.  But she didn't have any pockets, so she just put it in ther pants

Finally they came around the bend...
After all that walking we had to take a break.  We just stayed on the gound for awhile.

But we had to slide on the BIG slide one time before we left...it took Ainsley about 10 minutes to make up her mind, but eventually she did it!

After a fun afternoon, we picked our pumpkins and headed home!
Happy Fall!!

Halloween DANCE Class

Miss Emily had a fun dance class for Halloween!  The first half of dance we dressed normal and did our ballet stuff.
We dressed in orange and black to celebrate the occasion!

She is really starting to enjoy this class!  She practices at home and when she's happy, she really shows off her moves!
After the ballet part was over, all the girls changed into their costumes and tap shoes and put on a show.

(there is a cute story to this costume...yes, I know it's too small!)

Miss Emily and Miss Jordan and all the girls posed for some pictures.  And as with all little girls, not everyone was looking at the camera at the same time!  But I did the best I could!

KK and Ainsley were very impressed that Miss Emily dressed up like Cinderella.

A first...

You record a first step...a first word...a first laugh...
And when you are from Chickasha, OK (or have ever lived here) there are a few more firsts!
This day was Ainsley's very FIRST J&W hamburger.
Everything Burger Fried...thank you very much!

I think she handled it very well.  She even got to sit on her own stool!

I came home to find...

Nana....
Ainsley....
KK....
Crew....
Asleep in my livingroom.
But I never knew it would be so hilarious!

Life is too easy when you have a NANA....

Please notice that Ainsley is literally on the back of my couch...

Crew has on one shoe...and his shirt reads, "What happens at Nana's-stays at Nana's"

(She's going to kill me for this!)
